Dr Sophie Tomlin is a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in adult eating disorders and is Clinical Lead for the Birmingham and Solihull Adult Eating Disorder Service. With a compassionate, collaborative approach, she works closely with both patients and their families to support recovery in a holistic, person-centred way. Through her work she aims to break stigma, share evidence-based insights, and create a space where recovery feels not only possible, but deeply supported.

Previously serving as Clinical Director and having been a Darzi Fellow in medical leadership during her training in London, Dr Tomlin has a particular focus on transforming and improving NHS services. Her experience at the intersection of clinical care and system-level strategy fuels her commitment to drive change, foster multidisciplinary collaboration and provide accessible and effective services to all patients with eating disorders.
